Erica has studied voice and musical theatre at Howard University and at an early age was accepted to UC Berkeley's Young Musicians Program. Erica was most recently trained by Music Together co-founder, Dr. Lili Levinowitz, PhD. Erica also loves to dance and can be found teaching Zumba in the Briar Chapel Fitness Facility.

Erica formerly practiced Corporate Law for six (6) years in the New York Metropolitan area, but now has returned to her passion - Music, Music and more Music.
Having taken Music Together with her daughter, Lena, for 2 1/2years, Erica decided after relocating to North Carolina, to start Music Together centers in Chapel Hill and Durham.
Meet Jazz Dad.... New JamminBaby Teacher. Mr. Wes.
Wes is an at-home dad with his daughter Amelia, 4, and son Ellis, 2. Through this experience he has seen the power of play based learning where kids can experiment and be supported in a positive environment. He found this same approach with Music Together classes and hasn’t looked back. After four years as a parent in Jammin Baby classes, Wes has found that incorporating beats, notes, and rhymes into everyday life is not only fun but helps build pre-literacy skills and makes parenting easier. He is often called a “silly daddy” anyhow, so it all fits!
Wes was a singer at an early age in school and church. He played piano and brass instruments and excelled at musical theater. In college Wes was inspired to go out and see the world. He lived in Tanzania and Zimbabwe, and has travelled to places like Sri Lanka, Indonesia, and India where he worked hard at learning new languages. In his professional life Wes has worked with refugees and immigrants in the United States for over ten years. While living in Baltimore he learned to play guitar and helped lead hootenannies around town. It is an absolute joy for him to come full circle and combine his love for music, world cultures, and kids as a Music Together teacher.
